What's NADIA
A project on the reduction of the noise from traffic o-financed by the European Commission under the LIFE + 2009 call and identified with the project code ENV/IT/000102.
Planned activities
- Noise mapping of a significant portion of urban areas and some provincial roads;
- draw up plans of action according to innovative methods of working;
- implementation of demonstration actions also used for classroom use.
The work will be conducted to ensure participation of stakeholders and accurate communication with the population, according to a statement of the European working groups.
Working group
The project includes the establishment of a working group consisting of at least 30 local authorities (in particular provinces and municipalities that fall within the scope of Legislative Decree no. 194/05).
Project costs
The total cost for the project amounts to € 2,144,910, the amount granted by the European Commission amounted to € 695,730.
